Description
This is a table tomb located one yard from the south wall of the south aisle of the Church of St. Guthlac, dating from 1760. It is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth that supports a chest with engaged baluster pilasters, which in turn support a low coped top. On either side of the chest are rectangular inscription panels that commemorate John Morrey, who died in 1760.
