Description

This table tomb, located 3.5 yards from the south wall of the south porch of the Church of St Guthlac, dates from 1721. It is constructed of ashlar and features a moulded plinth with bulbous baluster pilasters that support a moulded top. The sides have inscription panels that commemorate the death of South in 1721.
