Description
This gravestone, dating from 1741, is located 10 yards from the south wall of the south aisle of the Church of St Guthlac in Market Deeping. It is made of ashlar and features a rectangular shape with a coped top. The stone has a square raised inscription panel that commemorates William and Sarah Hardy, who both died in 1741. On either side of the inscription are harebell chains, and above it, an hourglass is flanked by winged cherubs.
