Dolau House is a two-storey building with attic rooms that are illuminated by windows in the gable ends. It features red brick construction with blue brick dressings and yellow brick voussoir window heads. The roof is covered in slate, with boxed eaves and deep verges, and there are two brick stacks at the ends. The front has three windows, all of which are twelve-pane sashes without horns. There is a central gabled porch that is open at the front, leading to a modern glazed door.
