Description
Clarence House, also known as the Old Vicarage, is a two-storey building from the 19th century, constructed with rendered brick and topped with a hipped slate roof that features two red brick stacks with yellow brick bands. The building has a square plan and a three-window range. The central entrance is located on the southeast elevation, set within an advanced central bay. It includes a recessed porch with a pointed chamfered outer archway and sidelights that frame a reeded doorcase. Flanking the entrance are floor-length 20-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has 16-pane sash windows. The southwest elevation also features similar windows. Additionally, there is a tall stair window on the northeast elevation, which includes some coloured glass in its margin lights.
