C18, C19. 2 storeys and attic. Mainly a symmetrical facade, with alterations; once 5 windows but the 1st floor now has 3, the outer 2 being centrally placed above the ground-floor pair, the easternmost of the east side pair being replaced by a projecting bay with angular front, of 3 windows. Red tile roof, brick dentil eaves. 2 hipped roof dormers. Red brickwork in Flemish bond, with rubbed arches (flat to 1st floor, segmental to ground- floor), plinth: at each side and on either side of the central doorway there are wide flush panels of blue headers, from eaves to plinth. Sashes in exposed frames, the side walls of the bay are tile-hung on one side and have a bricknogged frame on the other (outer), the area below the cill line being tile-hung. The doorway has a solid frame enclosing a 3-light fanlight and a flush-panelled door, all within a gabled trellis porch. A single-storeyed eastern wing has a bricknogged timber-frame and red tile roof with a hipped end, ending with a low eaves as an outshot.
