Description

Kennel Cottage is a mid-19th century estate cottage that features one storey and an attic. The building has a symmetrical facade with three windows and a small northern extension that has one window and is also one storey high. The roof is covered with red tiles and includes three gables at the front (east) and a central gable at the rear. The walls are made of red brick laid in Flemish Garden Wall bond with blue headers, and the ground-floor openings are cambered. The windows are two-light casements, with the upper lights having cills at eaves level and original leaded panes. The entrance has a solid doorframe that encloses a three-light fanlight above a modern half-glazed door.
