Description
Walnut Tree Cottage is an 18th-century building that features one storey and an attic, with a two-storey modern addition on the west side. The east front has four windows on the ground floor. The cottage has a red tile roof that is half-hipped to the north and fully hipped to the south, extending to low eaves. There is a hipped dormer with a cill at eaves level. The structure includes some red brickwork in Flemish bond, as well as render, a first-floor band, cambered openings, and a plinth. The windows are casements with leaded lights, and the doorway is topped with a gabled canopy supported by brackets. The modern extension features weatherboarding on the upper walls and also has a gabled canopy above the doorway.
