Description

Hockley House is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high and features a symmetrical front with three windows. The house has a hipped slate roof and is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with rubbed flat arches and stone cills, as well as openings for a basement. The windows are sashes set in reveals. A notable feature is the Bath stone porch, which is supported by Tuscan columns and includes a square fanlight above a six-panelled door. At the rear of the property, there is a small 18th-century stable block.
