Description

Compass Cottage and Cedar Tree is a 17th and 18th century building located on the east side of North Warnborough Street in Odiham. This one-storey and attic structure features irregular window arrangements. It is primarily timber-framed, with the frame exposed at the rear of Compass Cottage, and infilled with red brickwork. The brickwork exhibits mixed bonding and Flemish bond in various areas. The roof is covered with red tiles, half-hipped at the north end and gabled at the south, as well as over the one-storey forward extension on the north side. Each elevation has a modern wide dormer with two lights and casement windows. There is a plain door leading to Cedar Tree and a timber-framed porch for Compass Cottage. The building is included for its group value.
