Description

The barn at Hockley Farm, dating from the 18th century, is located to the southwest of the farmhouse. It features a three-bay structure with a central projecting entrance. The barn is constructed with a timber frame set on a brick base, incorporating a queen post with arched braces and diagonal struts in the wall frames. The roof is covered with red tiles, half-hipped to the west, gabled to the east, and has a full hip over the doorway. The walls are weatherboarded, and there are later extensions to the original structure.
