Description
Hockley Farmhouse is a 16th and 18th century, two-storey timber-framed building with a later one-storey and attic extension to the east. The main (west) front features three windows and has a red tile roof that is half-hipped, with a gable on the extension that has low eaves on the south side, and a hipped roof over the rear porch. The exposed frame has brick infilling, and there is brick walling elsewhere, some of which is painted. The front has old leaded casements, while the other windows are more modern. At the rear, there are two modern flat-roofed dormers. The plain front door is sheltered by a canopy on brackets, and there is a brick porch at the rear.
