Description

Timberlea and Butlers comprise a pair of houses, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. They present a generally symmetrical appearance due to fenestration alterations around 1900. The houses are two storeys high with four windows. The northern half has a timber frame, with painted brickwork filling the frame and also forming external cladding for Butlers. A red tile roof has an eaves line broken by raised upper windows, creating a half-dormer effect. Modern casement windows are present, along with modern doors on the sides.
