Description
The Meade is a cottage that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, with modern additions. It has two storeys and features three windows. The building is primarily timber-framed, with an 18th-century extension at the south end and a modern addition to the north. The roof is covered in red tiles and has a half-hipped design with tile-hung gables. The walls are constructed of red brick in English bond, with infill that exposes the timber frame in the center. There is a first-floor band at the south and along the south gable, and the openings are cambered. The cottage has casement windows; three of the first-floor windows are dormers that rest on the eaves, while the others are positioned below the eaves level. At the north end, there is a modern porch made of brick and timber framing.
