Description

Dial Cottage is an 18th-century building featuring one storey and an attic, with five irregularly placed windows. It has a thatched roof with low eaves at the rear and distinctive 'eyebrow' dormers. Each gable end is complemented by a large tapered chimney stack. The walls are constructed of red brick in both English and Flemish bonds, while the upper gables display exposed framework. The cottage has casement windows, including three old leaded windows on the upper floor, while the ground floor features modern windows in contemporary openings. There is a boarded door set in a solid frame, leading to an open thatched porch. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension at the east end that mirrors the main building's form.
