Description

Culham's Farmhouse is a house dating from 1847. It is two storeys high with single-storeyed wings extending from each end, and the central section has a symmetrical facade of three windows. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in slate. The house has tapered brick stacks attached to each gable end, which are wider upwards and supported by brackets, creating massive shafted chimneys, although the eastern chimney has been cut down. The brickwork is red in a Flemish bond pattern, with blue headers. Original three-light casement windows are visible. A brick porch with a steep slate roof shelters a pointed arched entrance leading to a plain doorway.
