Description

Silchester House is a two-storey house built around 1840, showcasing a Tudor style with later additions from at least two different periods to the east. The house features a steep slate roof and several prominent stacks with decorative terra-cotta flues set on rectangular moulded bases. The walls are made of stucco, with some openings adorned with hood-moulds while others have plain chamfers. The windows are casements, and there are large bay windows of one and two storeys in the later blocks. The doorways are designed with 4-centred arches.
