Description
Park Lodge is a mid-19th century estate cottage located on Brick Kiln Lane in Horsmonden. The building features a red brick ground floor with fish-scale tile hanging on the first floor and has a plain tiled roof. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. The gables on the left and right sides, as well as the two half-dormers in the re-entrant elevations, have moulded bargeboards. There are stacks on both wings of the cottage.
On the first floor, there are paired wooden casements with arched leaded lights, and similar windows are found on the ground floor to the right and left returns. The ground floor gable ends have canted bays with the same style of fenestration. A rib and stud door is located in a raking porch on the right re-entrant face of the left-hand wing. Additionally, there are catslide outshots to the rear right and left return of the building.
