Description

Share Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding from the 18th century and alterations made in the late 20th century. It is timber framed and features red and blue chequered brick on the ground floor, while the first floor is weatherboarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The house has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high with a garret on a plinth. The roof is half-hipped to the right, and there is a stepped stack cluster on the centre left. Each floor has three late 20th century glazing bar sash windows, and there is a gabled porch to the centre left, which was under construction at the time of the survey, along with a small glazing bar sash above it. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.

Inside, the house features a panelled frame with a mid-rail and exposed chamfered beams. There is an inglenook fireplace with a domed bread oven, and a wooden newel stair is located to the side.
