Description

House. Dating from the 15th century, it is timber framed and has a red brick ground floor, with tile hanging to the first floor. The return elevations reveal the timber frame with plaster infill. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped design featuring gablets and a stepped stack cluster in the centre right. There is also a hipped dormer. The windows are wooden casements with leaded lights. The first floor has three-light casements, and the ground floor to the left has three-light casements. To the right are two four-light mullioned and transomed windows, and a rib and stud door is centrally placed on the right. The left return shows exposed close studding in the gable, while the right return displays exposed framing, which has a 17th-century character. A catslide outshot features two stacks, and there are single-storey extensions to the rear, including an original rib and stud door.
