Description

Ragmoor Farmhouse is a 17th-century building with a mid-19th century extension. It is designed as an estate cottage with one storey and an attic, featuring a lower extension to the east and three windows across the front. The roof is covered with red tiles and has three gables, with the extension having a slightly lower roof. The walls are made of red brick laid in Flemish bond. The windows are casements, and there is a plain boarded door set within a solid frame, topped by a simple canopy. Massive tapering chimneys are located at each end of the building, and a timber-framed gable can be seen on the wing, suggesting its earlier origins.
