Description

The Long House is an 18th and 19th century building. The symmetrical east front has two storeys and five windows, with later additions in a matching style: one window to the south side and two to the north side. The roof is tiled, with brick dentil eaves. The walling is formed by vertical flush panels in blue headers, and wider panels in red brickwork using a Flemish bond pattern. The red brickwork also forms the quoins and base, extending down to below the ground floor window sills. Upper windows are sash windows with exposed frames, while the lower sashes are set in reveals. A modern, small, hipped-roofed porch with a half-glazed door has been added.
