Description
Longthatch is a building dating from the 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries. Originally a row of four cottages, it has been converted into a single dwelling. The structure has one storey and an attic, featuring four upper windows. It is topped with a thatched roof that is half-hipped at each end, with eaves raised above the dormer windows, which have cills at eaves level. The walls are rendered, and there are cambered openings on the ground floor along with a plinth. The north gable displays exposed timber framing. The windows are casements, with one window occupying a former doorway. At the north end, the ground floor has been opened up to create a deep porch supported by stone pillars, with a modern doorway added within.
