Description
The Manor House is a late 18th-century building located in Hurstbourne Priors. It features a symmetrical front facing east, with two storeys and an attic, and three windows. The steep hipped tile roof is complemented by brick dentil eaves and three hipped-roofed dormers with casement windows. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with slightly cambered openings and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in reveals, with three lights on each side. A later brick gabled porch has a cambered arch, plain bargeboards, and a half-glazed door. On each side of the house, there are single-storeyed outshots that are slightly recessed, maintaining the symmetry of the design. The west side has a similar elevation featuring casement windows.
