Description

The well at Top y Fron is set into a stone boundary wall that fronts the lane and also serves as a retaining structure for Top y Fron Farm, which is situated below. The well features a stone-arched opening at the front, although the keystone is missing; it can be seen inside the structure. The arch is heavily covered in vegetation. At the rear, the well-shaft is semi-circular and made of brick, built against the retaining wall, which is battered at the back.
