Description

The Vicarage is a symmetrical, two-storey building with three windows, constructed in roughcast and white-washed under a hipped slate roof featuring two red brick ridge stacks. It has wide boarded eaves and a stone plinth. The central entrance includes a half-glazed panelled door with a three-pane overlight, set within a wide glazed porch. This porch is supported by a red and yellow brick base and has a hipped roof with decorative brackets and a finial, along with a door on the left-hand return.

The windows are hornless sash types with wedge lintels and stone sills, featuring 8-over-12 panes on the lower storey and 16 panes on the upper storey. Both the north and south sides of the building have two windows with sashes similar to the front. The north side has a canted bay with parapets on the lower left, containing a sash window, while the window above is blind. The south side mirrors this arrangement, with a canted bay on the right and a blind window above.

At the rear, the former service wing has been removed, replaced by a central narrow two-storey lean-to with 20th-century wooden top-hung windows. To the left in front of this lean-to is a 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed block, with the north wall likely part of the original service wing, featuring a small two-light window with a wedge lintel. The front of this block has a two-light window and a door on the right return, with the flat roof extending to create an open porch.

The interior was not seen during the survey.
