Description

Leadbrook Hall is a farmhouse dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The building consists of two blocks: a large three-storey block made of brick, which sits on a stone plinth and is cement rendered on the north and west sides, topped with a slate roof featuring raking gable parapets and pressed red brick chimneys. The second block is a two-storey rendered structure with a slate roof. The glazing throughout is generally modern.

The lower block has two camber-headed windows on the first floor and two similar windows on the ground floor, with modern glazing between them. The gable end features a stone porch. The taller block has three squarish windows set at the eaves, with two camber-headed windows on the first floor and camber-headed windows on the ground floor. The east gable end has a two-storey splayed bay made of brick with a slate roof and a brick cornice, featuring a camber-headed sash window on the first floor and a modern window on the ground floor. To the right of the bay, there are two vertical pairs of camber-headed windows with casement glazing, with the left pair set higher at half-landing level.

On the south elevation, the building rises three storeys and features three windows, with squarish second-floor windows set at the eaves. The first floor has three camber-headed windows with casement glazing, while the ground floor has a central doorway flanked by camber-headed windows. To the left, the rear of the two-storey block slopes down as an outshut and includes a modern window.

Inside the ground floor of the two-storey block, there are heavy beams and joists.
