Description

43 Regent Street is a three-storey building from the late 18th century, featuring a two-window front made of painted roughcast. The windows are offset to the left, and the building has undergone Victorian alterations. It has a slate roof and a red brick chimney stack on the rear pitch. The second floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 16-pane sash windows. The ground floor includes 19th-century splayed brick bays with casement openings. There are half-glazed double doors beneath a hood with swept eaves, and a half-glazed door is located at the extreme right end. The rear of the building is pebbledashed and has a later red brick cross range that adjoins Poplar House.
