Description
47 Regent Street is an early 19th-century, three-storey building with a one-window front. The first and second floors are roughcast, while the ground floor is made of rubble and features a cill band and a plinth. It has a slate roof with end chimney stacks, one made of brick on the left and the other roughcast on the right. The second floor has a 16-pane sash window, the first floor has a modern casement window, and the ground floor features a sash window set in a broad margin, although the glazing bars have been removed. To the right, there is a boarded door with a similar margin. The rear of the building is partly rendered and partly rubble, with sash windows, some of which have small panes. There is a modern extension at the ground floor across the rear yard of the Sun Inn public house.
