Description
The building is a large, asymmetrical two-storey cow-house with three doors, constructed of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features a boarded door to the left of the center, with additional doorways on both the left and right sides that have split doors. The right doorway has a timber lintel, while the others are supported by stone lintels. There is a loft doorway to the right of the center, covered with iron sheeting. The adjoining cart-shed on the right end includes a wide bay with a timber lintel and a loft that has a boarded door. The north gable of the cow-house has ventilation slits, and there is a single-storey stone lean-to beneath it. The west front has a wide opening with a metal door, while the south gable of the cart-shed is covered in vegetation and has a timber lean-to beneath it. The rear elevation has not been seen.
The central boarded door likely led to a feed passage, and the right doorway opens into a bay that currently houses calves. Inside, there is a timber floor in the loft that obscures the roof trusses, and an internal doorway connects the cow-house to the cart-shed.
