Description
Pont Cilan is a two-span bridge made of random stone, featuring a slightly humped deck. It has wide segmental arches constructed from stone voussoirs, which include dripmoulds. Triangular cut-waters are located between the arches. The parapets are corbelled out and supported by the cut-waters and iron girders. The copings consist of large dressed stone blocks with chamfered top edges, and there are high pyramidal stones positioned above the cut-waters. Metal railings are attached to the walkways on the inner sides of the parapets. The abutments are made of rubble stone and are slightly splayed out, with butt joints on the southeast abutment indicating it may be older.
