Description
Bryn Awel is a small, single-storey cottage with an attic, built from white-washed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof that features a stone stack on the left side. The front of the cottage has a doorway on the right with a flat head and split doors. To the left of the doorway is a narrow single-light wooden casement window, also with a flat head. Above this window is a raked half-dormer that contains a 2-light wooden casement window with large panes. The west gable end has another 2-light wooden casement window. At the rear, there is an integral lean-to with a skylight in the roof pitch, a 2-light wooden casement window facing east, and a small light on the west side. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
