Description
The Animal House located to the west of Llawr Cilan Farmhouse is a small single-storey lofted building constructed of random stone and covered with slate roofs. It consists of two sections that are separated by a butt joint, indicating they were likely built at different times. The southern section may have originally served as a cow-house, featuring a gable end with two boarded doors beneath stone lintels and a loft opening covered with corrugated plastic sheeting. The front of this part has a wide, partly boarded two-light window positioned just below the eaves. The northern section of the building might have once functioned as a stable, with a centrally located boarded door and a boarded window opening to the right, although these openings appear to have been modified. Additionally, there are three brick pig sties attached to the right-hand end of the structure. Access to the interior was not available at the time of inspection.
