Description
Siop y Plas is a three-storey shop and house built in the 19th century. The exterior features scribed stucco with stressed quoins and a graded slate roof that includes a covered skylight and a roughcast stack on the left side. The lower storey has a 19th-century shop front framed by boarded pilasters, with a replaced wooden fascia that retains earlier gabled end brackets and a cornice. To the right is a replaced door with an overlight. The shop window consists of plate glass beneath a clerestorey of lying panes, and there is a boarded stall riser below. The middle and upper storeys are adorned with tripartite windows that have 2-pane sashes set within Greek Revival architraves, with a pediment above the first-floor window.
