Description

Caffi Maes is a three-storey house and shop that forms part of a terrace. The building dates to the late 17th or early 18th century. It has a scribed roughcast front and a graded slate roof. The windows are closely spaced horned sashes; the middle storey windows have 16 panes, and those in the upper storey have 12. The shop front on the lower storey was replaced in the late 20th century. The rear elevation is of rubble stone and retains small-pane sash windows. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the streetscape.
