Description
Romola House is a two-storey house and shop built with stucco and features a close-eaved slate roof with a small brick stack on the left end. The building has a two-window range that is offset to the left. On the upper floor, there are 4-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has a 20th-century door with an overlight to the left and a shop front to the right. The shop front dates from the late 19th century and includes pilasters and a corniced fascia that frames a 3-pane shop window, which has a door recessed to the right. The shop window features two thin vertical bars, and the third pane is canted in. The door to the shop is also from the 20th century and includes an overlight. The ground floor shop lacks significant historical features, and there is an enclosed staircase leading to a flat above from the front door.
