Description
Pant-y-Cyff is a 2-storey house with a rectangular plan, oriented roughly north-west to south-east. There is a lower 2-storey range set back to the left (south-east) on the same axis. The main house features regularly coursed and dressed rubblestone blocks, while the set-back range has more roughly coursed rubblestone. Both sections have slate roofs.
The main house has a symmetrical front with three bays. On the first floor, there are three 16-paned top-hung windows, likely converted from original sash windows. The ground floor has 6-paned sash windows on either side of a central hip-roofed porch, which has a segmental outer arch and an inner door that is 4-panel with glazed upper panels. The house has integral end stacks with drips and stepped capping.
The recessed range includes a lean-to porch on the right at the angle with the main house. To the left of this porch is a 20-paned sash window, and above it is a 16-paned horizontal sliding sash window at the eaves. There are two additional eaves windows to the left above a wide opening on the ground floor, and a ridge stack to the right of centre, similar to those on the main house but with an added brick shaft.
The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
