Description

The Old Post Office is a building constructed from uncoursed large stone rubble and is connected to No. 8 to the north. It features a slate roof and has two symmetrical bays with a central hallway plan, flanked by reception rooms and gable stacks. The entrance consists of a central framed and boarded door, which is sheltered by a gabled slated canopy. The ground floor has six-paned horned sash windows, while the upper floor has similar but smaller windows, with all openings having timber lintels. The gable stacks are made of brick, and there is an outbuilding located at the rear.
