Description
Pant Du is a two-storey building constructed of rendered rubblestone with a slate roof. The main range, originally consisting of two units, is aligned roughly north-south and features a shorter lower range to the west, creating a basic T-plan. Each gable wall has an integral end stack, with the southern stack having been rebuilt and the one to the west featuring slate drips and a moulded capping.
The west wall of the main range has 20th-century windows positioned to the right and to the left of the center. The left window is angled with the west projecting range, while the first floor has a window only to the right on the ground floor. There is a doorway below the first-floor window on the left, likely in an earlier opening. The south wall of the west range also has a 20th-century window on each floor.
Although not available for inspection at the time of the survey, it is reported that the building retains inglenook fireplaces, with at least one adjacent to a winder staircase, as well as two 16th-century beams that appear to be reused.
