New Mill House

New Mill House is a 2-storey building with parallel gable-ended ranges that run at right angles to the road. It features a single-storey outbuilding attached to the south end of the west (front) range, along with another outbuilding positioned at right angles to the first, running parallel with the roadside wall. The structure is constructed from roughly coursed slate stone, with red brick window dressings on the ground floor and banded slate hanging on the upper level. The roofs are slate with overhanging verges and carved ends on the purlins and wall plates.

The main elevation on the west side has three segmental-headed 4-paned sash windows on the ground floor, and two gabled eaves dormers above, which contain sashes arranged in an unusual pattern of six panes over three tall rectangular panes. There is an integral end stack to the right with a panelled rectangular brick shaft, and a similar ridge stack to the left of centre. The entrance is located on the north side, which has been recently extended to the east in a style that matches the original house. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
