Description
Pont Coed-y-parc is a road bridge that spans a former railway. It features a single segmental arch made of red brick, which includes the soffit, and is adorned with a stone keyblock and arch-ring. The spandrels are constructed from coursed slate slabs, and there are piers that flank a cast-iron parapet topped with an ornamental iron balustrade. The abutments are made of large coursed slabs with band courses, and there are slab retaining and boundary walls on each side, which once enclosed the entire yard of the Felin Fawr Slate Works.
