Description

Fishguard Bridge is a road bridge built from squared rubble stone, featuring a single broad segmental arch. The arch is constructed with rock-faced grey limestone voussoirs, and there is a green Preseli stone band above it, just under the parapet. The parapet is topped with similar rock-faced coping stones. A datestone from 1875 is located on the parapet. The bridge has raised piers at each end and plain stone abutments.
