Fitting and Repair Shop at Felin Fawr Slate Works

The Fitting and Repair Shop at Felin Fawr Slate Works is a long rectangular building, oriented northeast to southwest. It features coursed and dressed slate slabs, with some patchy earlier rubble visible at the left end. The gable ends are roughcast, and the building has bracketed eaves beneath a gable-ended slate roof, which has replaced an earlier hipped roof. Each gable end has an inserted doorway with sliding metal doors. There are two large three-light windows with slate lintels and sills, as well as an inserted doorway on the northwest-facing wall and seven prominent roof lights. A series of windows is present on the opposite wall but is concealed by a later added range. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
