Description
Fferm Tyn y Clwt is a long rectangular two-storey building, aligned approximately north-south. It is constructed of very roughly coursed rubblestone, which was originally rendered, and sits on a slate-sheeted plinth. The building features a slate roof with purple brick coping at the verges.
The front of the building is roughly symmetrical with seven windows, all of which are unhorned 12-paned sashes that have slate cills. The windows on the far right of both floors are infilled, and the ground floor windows to the left and right of the entrance are horned, with the latter being a 4-paned sash. The entrance is located in the fifth bay from the left and consists of a flush 6-panel door beneath a gabled open slate porch. There are slate slab integral end stacks and ridge stacks on both sides, all featuring slate-sheeted bases and stepped capping.
The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
