Description

The Field Cowhouse is a rectangular building with its long side aligned north-south. It is constructed of roughly coursed rubblestone and has a slate roof with coped verges. On the east side, there is a boarded door to the left, and a similar door is located in the north gable end. The west side features four irregularly spaced ventilation slits. In front of the north gable end, there is a low rubblestone wall that creates a small corralled area. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey.
