Description
The stable at Braich-ty-du is a small, single-storey rectangular building, oriented approximately north-south. It is constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and features large quoins. The roof is made of slate, with stones laid over the slates just inside the verges at the gable ends, and there are two small ridge ventilators. On the west side, there is a slightly offset doorway with a boarded ventilator, and to the left and right of the doorway are 8-pane windows, both with slate cills and lintels; the left-hand window is partly obscured. Additionally, there is a further boarded door located in the left corner of the north gable end. Attached to the south gable is a lean-to that comprises two sheds, each with a low door and an altered window opening. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
