Description

The stable at Nantyfedw is constructed of rubble stone and features a corrugated iron roof. On the south side, facing the byre, there are two doorways, one to the right under a drip stone, and a narrow window to the left of center. The uphill gable end has a small-pane window with a wooden mullion, which is situated beneath a 19th-century drip stone. This window was likely originally a loft doorway and is accessed by a ramp at the uphill end, which is supported by a retaining wall that runs continuously with the south wall. The lower gable end has corrugated iron sheds attached and includes a ventilation strip located below the apex.
