Description
The stables at Pentre Farm are a Grade II listed building, set into a hillside and oriented approximately from south-west to north-east. They are constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and feature a slate roof with rough stone coping along the edges. The north-western long wall has an off-centre boarded door, which is flanked by eaves windows. There is also a small boarded door located in the right corner of the north-east gable. The rear elevation includes a doorway that is flanked by windows, mirroring the arrangement found on the front.
While the interior was not accessible during the survey, it is reported to contain a small integral fireplace with a stone-arched lintel and an integral mantelshelf, along with a 19th-century A-frame truss roof.
