Description

The Field Cowhouse at Ty Newydd Farm is a long rectangular building constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and topped with a slate roof. It is oriented approximately east-west and consists of two sections. The western end features a ramped access that is protected by a rubblestone retaining wall, leading to a boarded door with a slate lintel and threshold in the gable. The shorter section on the right has an infilled window below the eaves to the right, and there is an animal entrance to the cowhouse located on the north side. Inside, the building has A-frame roof trusses.
