Description
Snowdon View is a house built in the 19th century, featuring a two-storey T-plan layout over a semi-basement, with a slightly lower range at the rear. The exterior is constructed of snecked rubblestone, with slate hanging on the left return and rear wing. The hipped slate roof has two rendered chimney stacks on the rear slope and another on the rear wing, with decorative chimney pots on the former.
The front of the house has three windows on the two-storey elevation, with 12-paned glazing bar sash windows. The first-floor windows have slate lintels, while the ground-floor windows feature stone lintels, all with slate cills. A central shallow gabled open porch from the 19th century has timber lattice work and a slate slab roof, leading to a four-panel door with glazed top panels.
The left return and rear wing also have 12-paned sash windows; the rear wing includes a conservatory at the semi-basement level, while the left return features a 9-paned sash window with a boarded door to the right. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
